Time Traveler's Wife, or just some old book?

So probably loads of people have read this book. And probably, loads of them have reviewed it. Like my blog's name, i'm a wannabe(e) critic and i seriously just want to connect with lots of people with my blog. I'm gonna talk about books that people SHOULD read, HAVE read, etc. And yeah lets talk about boring old politics (NO IT'S NOT BORING GOD PLEASE IT'S NOT) and movies also. So, let's begin.

The time traveler's wife is about a time traveler (Henry) who meets his future wife when she's 6 years old who married Henry because he's her prince charming who came to be her friend when she was little (weird? i know).

Don't take it wrong, i think this book is seriously wonderful. I think the author made a point about how we're so little that we can't possibly feel the changes in the world without feeling crazy or absent minded. wait, that's taking it wrong. DO NOT READ THIS PARAGRAPH JUST GO TO THE NEXT ONE PLEASE.

Don't take it wrong, i think this book is seriously wonderful. The intimacy of Claire and Henry, how Claire is constantly worry because of Henry disappearing, how Henry worry about Claire worrying, you can just feel the innocence, the hope, the despair from word to another, just feeling the pressure is enough. When i was still finishing the book, i found myself completely daydreaming, couldn't sleep, feeling something is gone inside my heart. It felt wrong, it felt right also. It felt by not having those emotions, i have been right.

By not loving, you're right. By not wanting to love, you're wrong.

Ordinary is not enough, but too much is over-whelming. Alba (Claire+Henry's daughter) assumed that time traveling was god's gift, something fun, something you can enjoy on. I felt the same. I thought by having that "gift", you can see people you cannot see in the present, you can live in the present without the urge to know about the future, and you can live your life.

Definition of "live your life" for me: not to worry about anything and just have fun living. Yeah, i know it sounds too relaxed, and not worrying can be dangerous. I knew that, but somehow that idea never escaped my mind. Live your life! Viva la Vie! it seems so free you just want to eat it up and worry not if it can kill you (by chocking).

Henry was written as a very "free" kind of people (of course he's free he can run across the library bare naked and no one would question him what the hell was he thinking) and a skeptic. He felt like Robin Hood, Arsene Lupin, or a guywhocandobadthingstoyouandyoustillwannalovehimsomuch. no wonder Claire loved him even thou he was a lolicon who had sex with her when she was 18 and he was 43. We need someone like henry in our dumbstrucked-government, someone who can think like a baby who found a candy, like rambo when he kill someone, like james bond when he found his new girl.

BACK TO THE BOOK

i do recommend people to read this book, but the reader has to be people who loves reading. It can be boring sometimes, just reading about symbolic love, so you gotta be serious when reading this book. You gotta want to finish it, you gotta LOVE romance, and you gotta love objective thinking.

WATCH OUT

-for people with no hearts
-to dumb to read it
-are lazy enough not wanting to read a book about love
-beautiful people

you will NOT like this book. Just read Harry Potter or something.

Love you guys who reads this stupid blog (who i think is 0 people),
